Drama Digest

The main characters in the series are Win, Beauty, Minnie, Teenoi, and James. The series revolves around a hospital setup where Win falls in love with Beauty. The first season of the story unfolds Win and Beauty’s beautiful chemistry in a gracefully, followed by the second season where the duo undergoes a breakup, and Win’s friends support him to move on. It also includes the side story of Dr. James, who is treating his patient Teenoi. Along with it, the character, Minnie also wants to begin a new love life.

The Feel-Good Part

The part that interested the most was where they introduced the topic of psoriasis, a complex disease to handle. Many people suffering from the so-called disease felt relief when they say about it in the drama. It also helps in providing others with knowledge regarding such skin diseases. The chemistry between every character seemed to be excellent and witty. The cinematography part is also done pretty well and has a comparable standard.

The Disappointing Part

A few reasons to be cited for the drama not being liked too much is because of a female character shown as sexually harassing a male character while he was drunk. That part isn’t considered as much fun when the same thing if done by the male character is imagined. The relationship between the hetero couple wasn’t even depicted correctly; their story had an abrupt ending. Honestly, more parts could have been possibly included.

In-Depth Analysis

In short, it is a mini romance and comedy series which is very much light-hearted with lesser amount of drama involved. The series gives a short story in the form of a bl side couple which interested many and got them into watching the series. Even though there was barely any tag related to a bl drama, the chemistry between the doctor and his patient was the most anticipating and enjoyable part. To be honest, they had an even better chemistry when compared to the prominent couples.

Star Power

The five main leads of the drama- Best Vittawin, playing Win; Chahub Marut, playing Dr. James; Fame Woranun, Minnie, and Shino Peraphat, as Teenoi have done a fantastic job by bringing their characters into life. The storyline is so weak which made it look like the actor’s efforts deserved something much better than what they got. It was mainly the efforts of the actors that gave the series the reach it has received. Not to mention the shooting or the capturing has also been done well.

Overall Opinion

It is a light-hearted short drama that includes romance, a bit of drama, and a good amount of humor. Skinship is a prequel to the second part of the drama Skinship 2. The plotline isn’t that strong. It’s a good watch when you have lots of time to spare.
