Drama Digest

Korn and Win have been best friends for 22 years. However, tension between them appears when Win’s father granted Korn stocks of the family farm as part of his well. This causes a massive fallout between them, resulting in the end of their friendship. They don’t see each other again until Win gets into an accident with his sister Lin. When he wakes up he finds out that he woke up in Lin’s body. For things to back to the way they were he has to collect holy water from 4 different temples across the country in the span of seven days. He asks Korn to accompany him on this road trip. Will this change things for the two of them?

The Feel-Good Part

The setting of the show is beautiful. The road trip aspect of the show shows life in rural Thailand, which is quite different from the urban life. There is conversation about Buddhism, which is a dominant religion in the region and plays an important role in the story. The food looks scrumptious and mouth-watering throughout. Another interesting aspect of the show is how it completely flips the expectations of viewers. It is a very different show from what it showed itself to be in the teaser and trailer, which gives the audience an element of surprise. Music is one of the other strengths of the show. It is used well and adds a lot of character to the plot. The characters of the show are well-written and easy to care about. Each of them feel unique and likable, which helps the audience to actively root for them despite the conflict. The chemistry between the characters feels extremely natural and gets increasingly intriguing to watch as the story progresses. The body swapping plotline is handled with care and done well for the most part as it both- fascinating and answers interesting questions that the show poses. The tone of the show is quite light-hearted and is easy to watch.

The Disappointing Factor

The show doesn’t do a lot of things wrong, there are a few minor problems that prevent the show from being perfect. For one, there are too many annoying side characters that crowd the overall story, which can get exhausting to watch as it often distracts from the main story.

In-Depth Analysis

A lot of the Thai BL Dramas recently have been quite intense in terms of characters and plots, which is why this show is a breath of fresh air as it explores the simplicity of the characters and their relationship despite having a strong fantasy element to drive the story. The show never feels too plot-heavy or melodramatic, which makes for a quite enjoyable and easy viewing experience.

Star Power

All the performances were incredible. The actors played each character with sincerity and made the characters shine throughout the show.

Overall Opinion

This is a great show to watch as it is relatively short, entertaining and interesting. All the elements in the show work together to provide the audience with a great time, hence it must not be missed.
