Drama Digest

A guy dies at school after falling, but okay Chan Mi does not think Park Won Seok, her twin brother, committed suicide. After that, she moves to Yongtan High, where she meets Ji Soo Heon, a student who was there when her brother was killed. During that time, a “hero” who takes revenge on harassed kids shows up at Yongtan High. Chan Mi begins hunting for this hero after speculating that it could be related to her brother.

The Feel-Good Part

This K-drama centers on a high school in Seoul where there could have been a suicide. Everyone is in awe. Some possess more knowledge. Yet, this tragic example of a suicide without a murmur would occur if the victim’s sister, who has been living apart from her brother for many years, did not attempt to find out what happened. Fundamental questions in an apparently obvious issue go unaddressed all too frequently, perhaps in one manner or another. Yet this K-drama, which stars Oh Chang-mi, valiantly seeks to understand the situation and its surroundings.

The Disappointing Factor

Simply put, despite the fact that it did not fit the tone of the series, the show’s makers made a concerted effort to give it a happy conclusion, and as a result, they essentially gave it no ending at all. How did they manage that? By leaving you in the dark and letting you choose what gives you comfort. So, let’s be reasonable. They do share some information with you, but not the crucial details. This is a conclusion that screams that the writers had so little faith in their program, their characters, and their fictional universe that they thought viewers would lose interest as soon as the mystery was solved and wouldn’t be willing to devote another hour to properly saying goodbye to the characters and finding out what happened to them. And that’s a real pity since, shockingly, the people are engaging, so a whole episode devoted to the aftermath would’ve been the ideal way to finish things off.

In-Depth Analysis

Ok Chan-mi, a shooting champion, does not think that her twin brother committed suicide. Chan-mi moves to her brother’s school in an effort to track down his killer just as the police are starting to close the investigation. She undertakes this on her own to look into the death of the twins’ brother. There, she meets Ji Soo-heon and begins a relationship with him. He is a young guy who has seen many hardships and who wants justice, although in a perilous manner. Even though they are aware of the risk this entails for them, they cooperate to achieve their shared objective of exacting retribution on the offenders. And they discover a lot of other pupils’ secrets as well as something else.

Star Power

Shin Ye Eun nails the role of Ok Chan Mi in every aspect and seems to be made for it. Lomon as Ji Soo Heon is amazing in his role and performs exceptionally well. Seo Ji Hoon as Seok Jae Beom truly showcases the twisted nature of his character and brings out his dark side.

Overall Opinion

This drama is great if you enjoy the characters taking action and carrying out revenge on those who caused them such trauma.
