Drama Digest

A drama filled with action, thriller, and conspiracy with little but extraordinary hint of humor, all of this makes it an exciting choice to watch. This drama is all about Koo Kyun Ki, an insurance investigator who loves solving murder cases mainly just for the thrill. Her life takes a big turn when a serial killer traps her in defraud case. It’s an excellent show to watch as a cat & mouse fight goes on between the two characters. So, it is interesting to watch.

The Feel-Good Part

This drama is a great combination of dark humor, thriller & political back & forth can be witnessed in it. The investigation scenes shown in this drama are well made up. The significant part of this drama is that it is dominated by women in all ways possible. The plot development is gratifying throughout the whole time. The way the twist of events turns up is so imposing that it will keep the audience hooked up to the series. There are several moments in the drama that will make you feel that it just can’t get any better. The script is indeed really captivating, precisely the moment when those little cats & mice chases are going on between Kyung ki & Yi Kyung which is quite compelling. The director did a great job bringing the best out of the script & delivering it on screen.

The Disappointing Factor

Although this drama has excelled in every department, even in the sound arena, it loses its grip in the end. Also, sometimes the humor shown in the theater looks a bit off the topic. Sometimes the political element shown in theater is so powerful that it seems to have taken the spotlight from the characters. Still, the direction & storyline did a great job covering it.

In-Depth Analysis

Koo- Kyung-Yi is a lady in her 40s. Earlier she was a very famous police officer, but now she works as an insurance investigator and a private detective. She is a very smart and excellent lady, thus, she can solve every case that comes to her. In this case, Koo-Kyung tries to catch a serial killer who is a university student.

Star Power

The way every character is given equal importance and the way main female leads carry the plot on their back & grab the audience’s attention with their acting skills are remarkable. The execution of the characters’ emotional reactions is portrayed so well. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the actresses are underrated. They did justice to the characters with their acting.

Overall Opinion

The beginning of drama is so unique that it will automatically make the audience hooked up to this drama. The suspense is excellent with every episode. It just gets better & better. So, if you like investigation & crime – based drama, it’s a must-watch drama for that genre.
