Drama Digest

Eo Yong Mi is a single mother raising her two daughters alone and has financial problems, debt, and loan sharks to fear. An In Kyung is an optimistic person who dreams of opening a food truck for a mobile café business. Maeng  Soo Ja is a strategic person pretending to be a social being but only uses them for her own needs. The three of them work together as cleaning ladies for a brokerage company. One day they happen to listen in on some inside information about a stock-related investment opportunity. They decide to use this trading information to earn money and change their lives. But things take a wrong turn, and they somehow get involved in dangerous criminal acts.

The Feel-Good Part

The diverse personalities of each character and their quirkiness got perfectly carried by the cast. It is a female-centered show that provides three different women in a similar financial situation trying to change their destiny by any means possible. The work-life and personal life problems of these women will make audiences connect with the characters on a deeper level. These ambitious girls become cunning and feisty since they decide to get involved in a few unexpected criminal activities to fulfill their needs. The conceptual idea behind the show was brilliant for the crime drama genre. This show has a gritty and edgy vibe that will keep audiences at the edge of their seats. The friendship between the trio was heart-warming to watch. The show did unfold at a slow pace, but it did help build up the tension and curiosities of the plot twists.

The Disappointing Factor

The show takes too much time to build up, but the payoffs are unsatisfying sometimes. The show goes overboard with the problems to drive the point that their lives are too difficult to handle. Some scenes were unrealistic and unbelievably portrayed. It had some dull moments, which felt like a stretch at times. It will make audiences exhausted due to too many character-driven plotlines.

In-Depth Analysis

Three women working as janitors in a stock trading company, unexpectantly find out their secrets and use them to their advantage because no one suspects these low-wage workers to understand the complicated commerce areas. So, they sneak around looking for some inside knowledge as they plot diligently and use their daily skills to make money. They try their best not to get suspected, yet things change due to unforeseen reasons, and they fear the consequences of messing up with this big firm.

Star Power

The director of this show is Yoon Sung Shik, and the screenwriter is Choi Kyung Mi. This show is an adaptation of a British series with the same name. Yeom Jung Ah portrays the character of Eo Yong Mi, Jeon So Min plays the character of Ahn In Kyung, and Kim Jae Hwa portrays Maeng Soo Ja, who are the three protagonists of this show. Lee Moo Saeng plays Lee Young Shin, and Na In-woo plays the role of Lee Do Yeong.

Overall Opinion

A good enough pick for some fun and entertaining content as it keeps viewers invested in the plot. Audiences interested in crime dramas can get this show a try.
