Michiko, a 25-year-old girl, works in a sales department of a very famous furniture company. She does well for herself and is financially stable. But her traumatic past with her boyfriend keeps making her depressed. To cope with her trauma, she takes up an interest in railway stations, trains, and their facts. After being an enthusiast for Ten years now, she starts visiting different train stations nationwide in her pass time. On her solo trips to various places, she meets local people and tries out their delicacies. She starts her journey of self-love by enjoying the fantastic scenery.

The Feel-Good Part

The portrayal of a girl coping with trauma by enjoying nature, talking to like-minded people, and making time for herself is a great concept to showcase. After watching this show, you would want to go on a traveling adventure yourselves. The show has little dialogue with Michiko’s sweet and specific narrations about the places she visits will keep the audience engaged till the end. This show gives information about japan’s history of trains, railways, and beautiful hidden places. It seems a bit like a travelogue more than a show.
