Drama Digest

Mirai E No 10 Count is a Japanese show. The plot of the show is pretty simple. The male lead Kirisawa Shogo was a high school student and a great boxer. The death of his wife turned his life into a mess. Later a friend of his asks him to coach a young boxing team and he accepts the coaching position changing his outlook on life.

The Feel-Good Part

There are many feel-good parts in the show as Mirai E No 10 Count is a story of finding oneself again. One of the best parts of the show is when the male lead Kirisawa Shogo finds his love and passion for boxing again while teaching the young boxers. He sees the world through their eyes and remembers how much he enjoyed the sport.

The Disappointing Factor

The biggest disappointing factor of the show was how underwritten most of the characters were in the show. The show had a lot more potential if they explored more on the boxing club and the tournaments instead of the character’s relationships.

In-Depth Analysis

Mirai E No 10 Count is a Japanese TV series. It has a basic and feeble plot. Kurosawa Shogo was a high school student who had a great passion for boxing. He was an amazing amateur boxer. Throughout his school life, he won 4 boxing tournaments. He had a seemingly bright career in the sport ahead of him. During his university days, he decided to leave boxing due to some personal reasons. He spent his life normally like others. But everything changed after the death of his wife. His life became a complete mess. He became depressed and lost and he lost his will to live. He started spending his days doing useless part-time jobs barely earning a living. One day, his childhood friend asked him to coach the boxing team at the same high school they both attended. Nothing better to do, he accepts the coaching position. Coaching and spending time around young boxers, who gave their everything to boxing ignited his love and passion for the sport. Kurosawa Shogo started to feel alive again. He sees the world through their eyes and remembers how much he enjoyed the sport. The premise of the show was unique and beautiful. But the execution fell short. Most of the characters were underwritten with little to no character development. They were poorly written sketches of generic characters with no depth. The writing of the show was pretty average. Overall, it’s a drama with a lot of potential that couldn’t understand its powers.

Star Power

The star power of the show is only the male lead. The only redeeming quality of the show who makes the show a little more watchable. Other than his acting there’s nothing much in the drama itself.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the show has a very basic plotline with an overused twist that does not work well for the drama. The writers made some bad decisions which resulted in a complete waste of the plot. The acting and production were average. Overall, it’s a drama with a lot of potential that couldn’t understand its powers.
