Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya both think that confessing first will make them a loser. Both of them found various ways to make the other confess first.

The feel-good part

For those who have watched the manga, this is going to be their favorite drama. The story is impressive and entertaining.

The disappointing factor

The acting could have been better, and the execution, at times, sucks. The length was also a bit short. The pacing could be a bit fast for some of you, and it will make it difficult for you to adapt the story.

In-depth analysis

The drama is a live-action adaption of chapters five(final part of ep 1), eighteen (second part of ep 4), twenty-eight (middle of ep 14), thirty-seven (first part of ep 10), and fifty-three (middle of ep 14) of the manga. This drama is an adaptation of better parts that were left out in the first live-action movie. The drama stayed close to the source material. The use of a narrator is fixed in the drama, and it was done to be almost identical to the anime. The actors did great in their parts. The main leads played the roles as it was their real life. The story is easy to follow, so if you haven’t watched the anime, then don’t worry. The humor is based on the same aspects that made the anime funny. The main events were portrayed well in the story.

Star power

The main leads were good together. They had a sizzling chemistry between them. The supporting cast was also outstanding.

Overall opinion

The drama is a romantic comedy, a slice of life, and a youth type of drama. It is a light and cute drama that can be rewatched anytime.
