Drama Digest

Due to the overbearing president Fang Zhiyou pointing out her partner’s flaws, she breaks up with her boyfriend. Fang Zhiyou was the last person Xu Yiren wants to see. Unfortunately, they run into one another again at the job interview. Xu Yiren is concerned since he isn’t doing well and has run into the “foe.” Fang Zhiyou, however, surprisingly accepts her and converts her into a “lying” assistant for a “can’t lie” president. Xu Yiren creates a love bridge with white lies between Fang Zhiyou and herself with the help of her supporters and feelings, and a series of unexpectedly humorous love stories ensue.

The Feel-Good Part

There is a happy ending for Mr. Honesty. A wedding scene occurs, and Li Zhe is seen walking Yi Ren down the aisle. The drama finishes with Zhi You and Yi Ren kissing after their speech and vows. After their near-breakup in Episode 28, it’s a nice finish that should please romantic drama enthusiasts. Yi Ren asks Zhan Yang not to inform his son about his fictitious sickness. However, Yu-Wen wounds and waves of anger Yi Ren by exposing his deception to Zhi You. They eventually reunite when Zhi You sustains an injury while assisting Li Zhe in fending off criminals.

The Disappointing Factor

Even though they split up when Xia Di discovers he had been lying about his wealth, they are able to work out their differences. Her mother persuades her and shows her how much Gu Bo cares about her and how nicely he treats her. When Xia Di learns that Gu Bo is in the hospital, she is concerned. When she assumed he was harmed, she didn’t realize it was Zhi You. It demonstrates that she still has strong feelings for Gu Bo.

In-depth Analysis

This is a light-hearted romance between a secretary and a CEO. There are also Cinderella-like aspects, like a nefarious cousin and auntie. Our female protagonist gets her Prince Charming despite all obstacles, and this prince is a steal; he’ll never lie to her. He’s also a two-for-one: he has a wonderful younger sister and a close buddy who is loyal to both the male and female leads.

Star Power

The female protagonist was ignorant but nice, innocent, and naive, and she did a fantastic job. The music was amazing, really worth listening to, and perfectly suited the occasion.

Overall Opinion

This is a relatively simple story to follow, with few issues to overcome and a really lovely and intellectual younger sister to adore. Multiple love triangles, a second couple, and an evil sister are all present. The plot is a little cliche, and several situations are cliché, as is typical of Chinese plays. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice plot and with enough chemistry makes viewers feel loved and cared for.
