Drama Digest

The narrative of three young college students who meet, develop new friendships, and fall in love while maturing and realizing their childhood goals in the presence of one another.

The Feel-Good Part

As the title suggests, this drama makes you grin at times, and you can sense the love between the two characters. This is a wonderfully adorable and fluffy drama. Although there is nothing new here, the actors did an excellent job!

The Female lead is the happy/risky type, yet she wins your heart since she is sweet, witty, and always up to mischief. The Male lead is also quite excellent. He was incredibly cool and “efficient” when he first fell in love. T the person could fix all the problems without appearing to be an expert; he simply did it because it would benefit the heroine.

 The Disappointing Factor

The plot is simple and not overly convoluted. However, the plot is extremely clichéd. The abundance of romantic kiss sequences in this drama compensated for the absence of structure and storyline. For example, there is no information regarding the twins’ parents or Yan Luo’s father.

Some of her scenes were downright revolting and greasy. Another thing is that the wardrobe department could have done a lot better.

 In-Depth Analysis

Due to some reason, Ye Wei Mian disguises herself as her twin, Ye Zheng Han. She met Gu Yan Luo and embarked on a romantic trip by impersonating Ye Zheng Han. The plot is simple and not overly convoluted. The plot is quite predictable; it’s your classic tale of an ordinary woman meeting a “god-like” man. I can also see a faint resemblance to the Korean drama School 2015. As the title suggests, this drama makes you grin at times, and you can sense the love between the two characters.

Star Power

Luo Zheng’s character in this drama is a frigid man who warms up to the woman he loves. And considering that most of the personalities Luo Zheng depicted are similar, I think he did an excellent job. Ji Mei Han, the actress, also performed a wonderful job.

 Overall Opinion

Overall, this drama is a light, clichéd plot, but it made our hearts grin, as the title implies. For fans of sweet, fluffy Chinese dramas, it’s worth watching once.
