Drama Review
Li Jiayu is the kind of wife who takes care of her husband’s entire household meticulously and wholeheartedly. When her father-in-law suffered from acute liver cirrhosis, she donated him a portion of her liver without saying anything. On the other side, her husband, He Haoze, has been in love with her friend Zhou Xinyan. Unexpectedly, after the operation, Jiayu learns about it, and she is heartbroken.
The shock comes as a fatal blow to Li Jiayu’s psyche. While walking along the mountain, she loses her balance and falls off the cliff. Coincidently a kind guy, Li Tianming, saves Li Jiayu. She lost her memories because of the accident. Accepting the situation, she tries to make a new life for herself. With Lin Tianming’s encouragement, she gets to know things, and one of her hidden talents for coffee making. She takes it as a career and starts on a path in the coffee industry. As Jiayu and Tianming gradually fall for each other, what will happen when Li Jiayu’s memories return? Will she forgive her husband? Will she go back to her married life or choose Lin Tianming instead?
The Feel Good Part
It is heartwarming to watch someone being selfless, just like Li Jiayu is. Even Lin Tianming was kind and caring to Jiayu when she was in trouble, even though he had never known her.
The Disappointing Part
On one side, the wife is selfless and good. While on the other side, the husband is a traitor. The far personality contrast between both might seem unfair and develop rage among the audience, But then, that’s what living a story means.
In-Depth Analysis
It is a story of a wife who followed the traditional good wife for a long time. Once she encountered setbacks from her family, she retained her fighting spirit to move forward in life.
Star Power
Li Jiayu has been the star of this show. She shows that no matter what the situation comes in your life, you should keep moving on. And bring the best out of the worst circumstances. Also, the attraction developing between Tianming and Jiayu is pleasing to watch, giving us a star couple vibes.
Overall Opinion
It is romantic but also motivating. The sweet and caring moments will make you blush. Also, the way Jiayu uplifts herself after the fatal will move you. It’s a good watch.
