Drama Digest:
The drama is based on a demon king Chun Yao, who is expelled from heaven to Hundred Spirits Lake and a princess of Bailu Kingdom Han Sheng. Being banished from heaven, Chun Yao starts residing in Hundred Spirit Lake and becomes the king of monsters. When Han Sheng enters the lake with a book which only spirits can possess, then arrogant Chun Yao decides to include her in his mission to uncover the meaning of its many tales of love.
The Feel-Good part:
The drama has an exciting plot. The chemistry between the leads is captivating. They are successful in delivering such emotions that people can feel their love. They have sweet chemistry. Both the leads are good in their acting. In the beginning, Guo Jun’s acting as Chun Yao is an arrogant monster king and in the later part, a sweet lover, are well portrayed. Connie Kang as Han Sheng is such a sweet yet capable girl. The OST is good. This is a good drama with a good plot. The viewers will enjoy it.

Guo Jun Chen as Chun Yao and Connie Kang as Han Sheng are perfect for their roles. The other cast also did their job well.
The Disappointing Factor:
One of the disappointing factors is the subtitle problem for international viewers. They should notice their subtitles because there is a huge international fanbase who watch these dramas. Another disappointing factor is that the drama pace could have been better. The direction and production could have been better. Viewers should be prepared for the ending. This drama has a tragic ending.
