Biography: Daungjai Hathaikarn

A Thai actress who has a successful career and has shown her acting skills in over sixty movies is Duangjai Hathaikarn. She started her journey in the Thailand film industry in 1971, and ended in 1992. During this period, Daungjai Hathaikarn has acted in almost sixty Thai dramas. However, Daungjai Hathaikarn, born on 25th November 1951. She was born and educated in Bangkok, Thailand. Moreover, she started her career as a television actress and gradually, she flipped into the movie industry. In 1976 Daungjai Hathaikarn appeared in a movie named Sanaeha Arlai, where she played the lead character. Apart from Sombat Metanee, Pisamai Wilaisak, Pairoj Jaisingha, and Metta Roongrat were there in the film. Again in 1979, Daungjai Hathaikarn received another offer as a lead character in the movie Poo Kong Yod Ruk. The movie’s story revolves around Pan, a young lawyer who possesses a Master’s Degree in Law. However, this young talent wanted to become a judge. Later he decided to work in a different field. As a result, he took a job as a driver of Dr Draweepong and gradually fell in love with her. The notable cast members of the movie are Ning Nirut Sirijanya as Pan Namsupak, Duangjai Hathaikarn as Captain Chaweepong, Rattanaporn Inthornkamhaeng as Chawaiwong that is Chaweepong’s mother and Rong Kai Mulkadee as Am. Kanokwan Darundon has produced the drama Poo Kong Yod Ruk. However, the makers have adapted the story of the drama from a narrative that had been composed by Kanchana Nakhanan. In 1983 Klein Sanaeha was the television show that premiered. This television series has been adapted from a novel titled Klein Cheewit. The story of the serial is about a 25-year-old model who is also an actress named Kaewkarn. Kaewkarn was living her life with a painful past of her own. To get rid of this pain, she started taking drinks. However, one day after having her drinks, she was driving her car and smashed Toe Wadee. Tie Wade was a student and died just after Kaewkarn’s car hit her. However, Toe Wadee’s boyfriend Sathit, a lawyer, started destroying Kaewkarn’s image in front of the world as he wanted to take revenge on Toe Wadee’s Kaewkarn. The prominent cast members of this television show are Mayura Sawetsila as Kaewkarn, Nappon Gomarachun as Sathit, Hmu Sompob Benjathikul as Akra, Mayurachat Muenpasitiwet as Nattaya who is Akra’s wife, Tuk Deuntem Salitul as Daraka, Anusorn Dechapunya as Katha. Apart from these shows, Daungjai Hathaikarn has also appeared in dramas like Yoo Puer Ruk, Preuksa Sawad, Benjarong 5 See, Rai Sanaeha, Wang Wai Koon, Fah Tam, Kehas See Dang etc.
