Sachiko Chijimatsu is a Kyushu, Japan-based Actress, Voice Actress, and Narrator. She was first associated with Aoni Production, then Production Baobab, and presently 81 Produce. She was born on November 30, 1937, in Fukuoka Prefecture, the Empire of Japan.

Although she had been active since 1960, she got noticed after giving voice to the anime character of ‘Kabu’ in “Sally, the Witch (1966)”. After that, she started working as a Voice Artist for various roles such as Chappy in Tiger Mask (1969), Yamori in Gatchaman (1972), Sewashi in Doraemon (1973), Jimmy in Candy Candy (1976), etc. She also gave voice in the 1986 anime science fiction movie “Doraemon: Nobita and the Steel Troops” as ‘Tamako Nobi’.

Pyonkichi in Dokonj Gaeru (1970), Nobita’s Mama in Doraemon (1973), Kabu in Sally, the Witch (1966), Shippona in Himitsu no Akko-chan (1969), and 001/Ivan Whiskey in Cyborg 009 (1979) are among her most prominent roles.

Sachiko won the Merit Awards in the 10th Seiyu Awards function held in 2016.
