1. Tata Young 

Amita Marie Young or Tata Young as she is called, rose to fame when her debut album "Amita Tata Young" in 1995 sold over a million copies worldwide. It was all uphill from there for this lyricist as she won award after award for her songs. She has been dubbed the "Britney Spears of Asia."

 

2. Joey Boy 

Fondly called Joey Boy by his fans, Apisit Opasaimlikit is a producer and a hip hop singer whose single "Fun Fun Fun" became one of Thailand's highest-selling singles. He is also a budding actor, his most popular character being Mhen from Ghost Day. He is rightfully dubbed "The Godfather of Thai Hip Hop".

 

3. Rimi Nique 

Rimi Nique is a famous Thai lyricist and model. She is multilingual and can sing in six different languages. A famous performing artist, she won the 2016 'Best Pop Artist" Radio City Freedom Awards 4. She even made a guest appearance in the national show The Voice Thailand 2013 singing a cover of Lady Marmalade.

 

4. Apiwat Eurthavorn

Apiwat Eurthavorn, popularly known as Stamp is a famous songwriter and guitarist. His hit songs include 1% and Nephophobia. This artist won the Best Male of the Year award 2017. Fans camped from dawn to buy tickets to his first large-scale concert Stamp Krian Day. His inspiration growing up was the rock band ModernDog.

 

5. Thongchai McIntyre

Bird Thongchai is best known for his array of luk thung and string pop music hits. One of the most popular artists in Thai history, his performances are almost always booked out. He was featured on the international news hub CNN and also the Variety magazine and even won an International MTV award, being the first Thai artist to do so.

 

6. Sek Loso 

The former lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Loso, Seksan Sukpimai reveals that his favorite artists growing up were Carabao, Nirvana, and Guns N' Roses. This artist started at the young age of 17 when he joined the Austin Pub and went on to leader the house band there.

 

7. Suppasit Jongcheveevat

Fondly called Mew by his fans, this actor reached his peak when he starred as Tharn in TharnType: The series. His debut album 365 managed to snag the no.3 spot in the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. Suppasit had a TED talk on Self-esteem on September 25, 2020. Dubbed one of "The 50 Influential People" by the 102nd issue of Howe Magazine, he is the proud CEO of "Suppasit Studio".

 

8. Mai Charoenpura

Fondly called Mai Siriwimol by her fans, she has released hit songs like Pae Jai, Glub Deuk, and Duak Mai Kub Jai Kun. Dubbed the Queen of Thai pop, she has also acted in movies like King Naresuan. She has performed for the former Thai Prime Minister in Manchester, 2007.

 

9. Sangrawee Assawarak

Crowned Miss Thailand World 1984, this songwriter is known for her hit solo album The Spider Grabs The Heart. This album rose to unimaginable heights and became a celebrated cult classic that is the talk of the town today. Sangrawee Assawarak has also acted in a few movies.

 

10. Lalisa Manobal

This Thai rapper is a part of the Korean group Blackpink. Her song Money won her many awards including the Best Female Solo and MV of the year. She debuted with her album Lalisa, the lead single gaining the record of the most-watched music video on YouTube in the first 24 hours of a solo debut.
