While watching shows, no matter how attractive the main leading couple is, there are always couples on the side tracks that have us interested in them, and we are totally up for it, because why not, more romance for us.
1. Dan-Ah & Young-Hwa (Run On)
This couple had us rooting for them till the end; Dan-Ah is not the kind to show emotions easily, but I was moved to tears when she fell in love; we are glad that they finally got back together while being able to achieve their individual goals, they are the epitome of a non-problematic relationship.
2. Grim Reaper And Sunny (Goblin)
This couple was appreciated so much that they had to make a spin-off of the original; they portray the roles from where it ended in Goblin, in the show “Touch your Heart”, which was also critically acclaimed, they are in our hearts forever, with the cute portrayal of their parts.
3. Seung-Jun And Seo-Dan (Crash Landing On You)
This couple didn’t get much time on screen, but the time they did spend together impacted them and us, from a selfish con man, Seung-Jun died for his love, whereas Seo-Dan was changed forever and could live on due to her love for him, things could not get more tragical for the couple, but the chemistry was worth it.
4. Cha Joo Ik & Na Ji Na (Doom At Your Service)
Non-toxic and patient love, that’s something that needs to be cherished and kept safe; being able to love somebody and be patient enough for them is something we might not see easily, but the couple gave everybody hope, and their chemistry was top-notch.
5. Cha Hyun And Sul Ji Hwan (WWW: Search)
Easily the most adorable couple out there, the strong willed Cha Hyun, the soft boy Sul Ji Hwan; their scenes were like a blessing to the viewers, their sweet romance touched our hearts, the romance felt so real, the emotions and charisma of the character, no wonder people loved this couple a lot.
6. Yang Hye-Sun And Do Jae-Jin (My Roommate Is A Gumiho)
Our recent favourites, Ex- Gumiho, and a human, from fake dating to real love, from strangers to partners of comfort, this couple was so adorable that they made our hearts flutter, their confessions were so cute that we could not help falling for them either, their scene together really put a smile on everybody’s faces.
7. Sun Woo And Bo Ra (Reply 1988)
Although we were fooled in the beginning, during the show we fell in love with the second lead couple of Sun Woo and his noona love, the couple may have broken up for a couple of years, but all’s well that ends well, after many problems and roadblocks in their relationship, they end up together, all those struggles were worth the love.
8. Oh So Nyeo And Park Soo Kwang (It’s Okay, That’s Love)
Park Soo-Kwang, a café waiter with Tourette, and Oh So Nyeo; who works along with him in the café, but is a girl with behavioral problems, two “not-so-perfect” people make the perfect love story, which is worth the screen time, to get together after many struggles, and finding somebody who loves you for you, is something that this couple taught us.
9. Lim Hee-Kyung And Han Joon-Woo
The couple that broke all the stereotypes, our new role models, the way the show dealt with the stereotypical roles of having a timid, nice, and shy girl and the handsome hunk, Lim Hee Kyung is nothing like you typical drama girl, she has a “masculine” approach which Han Joon-Woo appreciates and they come together as a refreshing pair.
10. Lee Chul-San And Jeong Sa-Ha (Start-Up)
The comedy duo, the ones who gave us a great laugh but also some romance goals, were unexpected but so genuine, the bad girl, sweet guy duo hit it off and made sure to serve us some memorable chemistry, thanks to couples like this we can blow of some steam from the second lead heartbreaks.
