Recently dramas are focusing on all genres like elite suspense thrillers, action and murder drams. We have got some striking villains who we could never forget. These villains have us hooked on their stunning looks and actions. Most of the villains might not be actual villains but these characters do have us hooked, making us go through a lot of rollercoaster of emotions. The top K-drama villains we romanticize are.

1. Kim Do-Gi

Taxi Driver is a South Korean revenge drama. It follows the story of a group of people who set out to take revenge. This team is followed by Kim Do-gi, who is the former captain of the 707th Special Mission Group that works for Rainbow Taxi Company after his mother was murdered. His sincerity and empathy with all the victims moved us, and we all wish for his happiness.

 

2. Yoon Jong-Woo 

Strangers from Hell is a twisted drama which has everybody shaken at the end. Yoon Jong-woo played by Im Si-wan is a writer who is from the countryside and moves into Eden Dormitory room 303 after landing a new job. He gets the room for a cheap price and later on finds that it isn’t an ordinary dormitory. Even though the show was twisted it showcased raw emotions and since the beginning, the relatability didn’t phase out.

 

3. Vincenzo Cassano

Vincenzo Cassano played by Song Joong-ki is an Italian mafia consigliere and lawyer of Korean descent. His character has us hooked by the way he carried his style, his friendship and the bond he built during the episodes and his emotional attachment with his mother. He becomes an advisor to Jipuragi Law Firm and he with Hong Cha-young is working to destroy the Babel Group.

 

4. Oh Ji Soo 

Ji-Soo, played by Kim Dong-hee, is a high school student who models. To be able to pay his tuition fee he makes bad choices and this leads to a serious crime that takes place. This drama gave us a peek at student life and what could go wrong when you are directionless and confused.

 

5. Gu Seung-Jun

Gu Seung-jun also known as Alberto Gu played by Kim Jung-Hyun. He is a charming, intelligent but poor South Korean conman who has British citizenship. His family becomes bankrupt after Se-ri’s father scammed his father. It shows us what true love can do to you and his character is for sure loved.

 

6. Jung Ba-Reum 

Jung Ba-Reum played by Lee Seung-Gi is a rookie police officer. He is an honest person and tries to attain justice. He has an encounter with a psychopath murderer after which his life is changed. His character is considered quite controversial having us all on a rollercoaster from cheering him to pure hatred, from sympathizing with his character to not understanding him anymore.

 

7. Kang Soo Jin 

True beauty Kang Soo-Jin is played by Park Yoo-Na. Her character is loved and hated by all of us. She portrayed a negative role but her aura, her background and her always standing up for her friends made us understand her more. Even when she made mistakes she tried to stand back up on her feet again.

 

8. Baek Hee Sung 

In Flower of Evil, Baek Hee Sun is one of the most intriguing shows where the character is complex. The watchers were confused about his intention but the character development of Baek Hee Sun changes seen in the show.

 

9. Lee Eun Hyeok

Lee Eun-Hyeok, played by Lee Do Hyun is the brain of the greenhouse. He shows us characters in black and white.  He leads the green home apartment because he is calm-minded. We cannot stop being awestruck by his transformation, showing his love for others and the way he protected the kids. His characters show us all his vulnerabilities.

 

10. Lee Rang 

Lee Rang played by Kim Bum is one of the most loved characters of 2020. He is Lee Yeon’s younger brother and a half-blood gumiho who creates mischief to seek revenge on his brother. To hurt him he intentionally causes harm to humans. He has a playful nature and his wanting brotherly love made him one of the cutest villains. He showed us what a true family means. In the end, the sacrifice he made for his brother has us all in tears.
