Starring Son Ye Jin and So Ji Sub, the movie revolves around a woman who promises her family to return on a rainy day after one year before her death. The woman, though by a miracle, reappears but has no memory of her past. Son Ye Jin’s character dies at the end of this film.

The Classic is a 2003 Korean romance melodrama film directed by Kwak Jae Yong. The film runs parallel in time covering the love story of a mother and daughter. The family loses their eldest son Sun Ho in the disaster, and now the parents are trying to cope with the memory of their dead son and take care of the younger daughter left behind.

The Handmaiden is a 2016 psychological thriller film directed by Park Chan Wook. The series takes inspiration from a novel named The Fingersmith, written by Welsh Writer Sarab Waters, and published in 2002.
