1. Memories Of The Alhambra (Alhambra, Spain)

As the title suggests, Alhambra, Spain is a key location in the series, and it is here that the character of Hyun Bin meets a hostel owner while on the hunt for a reality game designer.

Though the characters of the series travel around many regions of Spain, including Barcelona, Girona, and the Granada area, the fictitious augmented reality game transports them to sites outside of the country, including Hungary and numerous significant spots in Slovenia.

 

2. Descendants Of The Sun (Greece)

Our major protagonists reunite in Descendants of the Sun in the mythical country of Uruk, although the film was really shot in several locations in South Korea and Greece. The gorgeous Shipwreck Beach and the town square they visited were filmed at Navagio Beach and Arachova, Greece, while the military base was filmed in the Gangwon region of South Korea. Navagio Beach on Zakynthos Island, Arachova, and other locations are examples.

 

3. Crash Landing On You (Switzerland)

Crash Landing on You, probably the most popular Korean drama right now, was shot mostly in South Korea's provinces for its 'North Korea' sequences. Furthermore, many of the most memorable moments of the series were shot in Switzerland, causing fans all over the world to put the nation at the top of their trip wish lists. The Sphinx Observatory, shown in the Crash Landing on You scene, is an astronomical observatory that is one of the world's tallest observatories. 12. 4. The Legend Of The Blue Sea (Spain)

The plot of Legend of the Blue Sea begins in Spain, where the two major protagonists first meet. Though the majority of the series takes place in South Korea, a few of the most memorable scenes were shot in Spain.

The iconic castle-like housing character of Lee Min Ho occupied in the series is located in Barcelona, Spain, according to their promotional material. They also shot a few sequences in Spain, at Sitges, Girona, and A Coruna.

 

5. Encounter (Havana, Cuba)

This absolutely beautiful K-Drama stars Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo as a CEO divorcee and a simple, younger man. Despite being primarily shot in South Korea, the series begins with the initial meeting of couples in Havana, Cuba. The drama is also the first Korean drama to be shot in Cuba. After concluding that Cuba has the antique space and vibrant colors required to depict the various experiences shared by Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk following their fortuitous meeting, the production team took the necessary measures to begin filming in Cuba. The cast and crew then traveled to Havana, Cuba in September to film "Encounter" for about a month. Some of the included locales are well-known tourist destinations such as Casa Lafayette and Parque Central.

 

6. Shopping King Louie (France)

"Shopping King Louie" is a romantic comedy sitcom about an attractive shopaholic named Louis, who is the heir to a great business empire but becomes homeless after experiencing amnesia. Meanwhile, in Seoul, Koh Bok Shil, a village girl who leads a life far removed from the affluent and famous, meets Louis. The unlikely relationship that develops between Louis, who can buy everything he wants, and the innocent girl, Koh Bok Shil, demonstrates to the audience that genuine love is priceless and cannot be purchased.

Though the majority of the series is shot in and around Seoul, it begins in a beautiful château in France named Château de Bourron, which is presented as the home of Louis in the first episode.

 

7. The Package (France)

The Package's lovely backdrop is in France, one of the most romantic places on the planet. The plot follows Lee Yeon Hee, a tour guide who takes a group of people on a one-week vacation package to see the finest of France. A man who was dumped by his girlfriend, a couple who has been together for ten years, an elderly couple who growls at each other during the journey, a father and daughter who appear to be strangers, and a gentleman who travels alone in this group and is quite miserable. From your sofa, you can go to sites like Mont Saint-Michel, Honfleur, Deaville, Saint-Malo, and Auvers-Sur-Oise.

 

8. The K2 (Spain)

Kim Je Ha, a former mercenary soldier known as "K2," becomes a fugitive after being falsely accused of murdering his lover. He returns to Korea and becomes a bodyguard for Choi Yoo Jin, the owner of JSS Security and wife of presidential contender Jang Se Joon.

Je Ha uses his new employee to plot his vengeance against Park Kwan Soo, the current ruling party's leader and Se Joon's adversary, whom Je Ha believes ordered his girlfriend's death. K2 included scenes shot at the Monastery of Santa Maria de Santes Creus and the Magoria-La Campana Train Station in Barcelona, Spain.

 

9. Goblin (Quebec, Canada)

If you have not already binge-watched this critically acclaimed K-drama series, here is another incentive to do so. Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is North America's only walled castle town. Quebec City, Canada's most attractive city, was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 and is separated into Upper and Lower Towns. This city was used to film the Korean drama "Goblin"! In the picturesque city of Quebec, Canada, a few of the series' most crucial sequences were shot. For example, the Goblin's featured hotel in the series is the Chateau Frontenac Hotel in Quebec, and another notable filming site was Parc du Bastion de la Reine.

 

10. Doctor Stranger (Budapest, Hungary)

Doctor Stranger is the story of a young doctor who left North Korea and now lives in South Korea. He swears to do whatever it takes to reconcile with the lady he loves in North Korea, despite having left her behind.

Despite the fact that the majority of the film was shot in South Korea, certain key sequences were shot in Budapest, Hungary. Lee Jong-suk appears in some of the toughest action situations of his career in these scenes.
