Tattooing is both a complicated and beautiful art form! There's the design, there's the pleasure of the needle, and there's a whole lot more. Here's a look at some of our favourite Korean musicians' most impressive tattoos!
1. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon
G-Dragon is probably one of the most well-known idols for his numerous tattoos. He proudly displays them and is not hesitant to urge others to get their tattoo fix as well.
2. Lee Hyori
Lee Hyori, a veteran idol, has a few tattoos, but the one on the back of her arm is her most famous! It's even been featured on magazine covers!
3. Ikon’s Bobby Tattoo
Bobby, iKON's attractive rapper, has the tattoo "Fear only God, Hate only sins" on his back. It's even more special because his father owns the same one!
4. f(x)’s Amber tattoo
Amber is an excellent role model for everyone since she is always 100 percent genuine. She isn't scared to be herself, and she has a lot of great insight about thinking differently. It's admirable in every way.
5. Block B’s Zico tattoo
Woo Ji-ho (born September 14, 1992) is a South Korean rapper, record producer, performer, and songwriter who goes by the stage name Zico. In 2011, he debuted as the leader of the boy band Block B, and in 2014, he released his first solo album. Zico has a number of tattoos on his body, but the depiction of his mother has to be his favourite!
6. Block B’s Taeil
Taeil is a Block B member who has tattoos all over his body. Taeil isn't the only one with a lot of tattoos; Zico also has a lot of them. Many idols, both male and female, have tattoos on various places of their bodies, and they all have their unique motives for getting tattoos. For example, to conceal scars, to recall memories, to serve as a reminder, and for a variety of other purposes. Taeil, the eldest member of Block B, is another tattooed member! Taeil has tattoos all over his body, most notably on his fingers, and they're full of brilliant colours that will draw your attention!
7. BIGBANG’s Taeyang
Seungri joked that Taeyang's tattoo collection was heavily influenced by G-Dragon. We don't know how genuine that is, but we do know that Taeyang's works, which are displayed on his body, are all really essential and detailed.
8. Jay Park
Jay Park is no stranger to working with ink and needles. He has tattoos all over his body, and there will undoubtedly be more in the future! The tattoo's brief answer is "too numerous to count." Jay has a sleeve on his left arm, 'King Life' knuckle tattoos on both hands, stars on his neck, a massive lion on his chest, and a compass on his neck, to mention a few.
9. WINNER’s Kang Seung-Yoon
Seunghoon is not the only member of WINNER with tattoos, but he is the only one having the group's logo tattooed on his neck! He mentioned that WINNER is known for being a compelling group, and their manager concurred. When their manager sees his tattoo, he interprets it as a sign of the ever-flowing love between artist and fans.
10. Kim Jaejoong
JYJ's Jaejoong is another artist who has dedicated a section of his skin to his band! His tattoos are a blend of music-related sentiments and loyalty to his band.
