Do Kpop idols occasionally have a convincingly perfect appearance? They appear to have stepped out of an anime because their features and face are so flawless. In addition to having incredible talent as actors, singers, and dancers, idols frequently have unearthly appearances that make them appear as illustrated examples of perfection. Here are just a few parallels between popular anime characters and idols that we could not help but draw.
1. Jeonghan (Seventeen) – Victor Nikiforov
Seventeen’s Jeonghan has earned worldwide recognition for his long straight hair during the debut years of the group. He is considered one of the few male idols who could pull off long hair with such grace. Jeonghan’s ash blonde hair tied in a ponytail during Seventeen’s Mansae era caught the eyes of many fans. They drew a similarity between their beloved idol and one of the primary characters of Yuri!!! On Ice, Victor Nikiforov. There is a striking resemblance.
2. Yuta (NCT) – Baji Keisuke
Yuta from the famous K-pop group NCT has recently started keeping from cutting his hair short. When Yuta’s photographs in black hair first surfaced, NCTzens could not help but compare him to Baji Keisuke from Tokyo Revengers. Yuta and baji share certain personality traits with a similar cold appearance with, black locks, and sharp features. They are driven by emotions and express love in their quirky ways.
3. Mina (Twice) – Nobara Kugisaki
Twice’s Mina is known for her beauty and charm. Her ginger hair was amongst one of her most iconic looks. The release of the anime series Jujutsu kaisen in 2020 immediately gave fans déjà vu. The depiction of Nobara Kugisaki and her ginger hair immediately made fans think of Mina’s cheer-up era in 2016. The similar face cut, slender nose, and big brown eyes add more to the resemblance.
4. Taeyong (NCT) – Akise Aru
Akise Aru from Future Diary and Lee Taeyong from NCT look like real-life twins. It is impossible to miss the similarities between the two young males in this picture. The messy white hair, passionately charming eyes, and a chiseled jawline; all work in favor of approving our argument.
5. Beomgyu (TXT) – Kou Mabuchi
No matter how different their personalities might be, Beomgyu from TXT and Kou Mabuchi from Ao Haru Ride have shockingly identical appearances. In this picture, aside from the hair and the facial features, the posture and the clothes of the two men make it look like Kou might be an animated version of Beomgyu!
6. RM (BTS) – Nanami Kento
The dragon-eyed Duo! RM from BTS and Nanami Kento of Jujutsu kaisen had to be on this list. This picture of RM from BTS’ Sowoozoo concert makes it very clear why they deserve a particular spot here. Blonde RM in a blue denim outfit and blue shades make him resemble Nanami in his classic blue shirt and iconic glasses.
7. Taemin (Shinee) – Rasiel
Taemin is not only a part of the well-known group SHINee but also of the legendary SuperM. Thanks to his lengthy career, he has accumulated followers who adore everything he does. He frequently receives comparisons to various K-Pop idols and anime characters from his followers. A few years ago, Taemin let his hair grow past his eyes and over his shoulders in the front. He resembled Rasiel from Katekyo Hitman Reborn because of this hairdo and the blonde dye he was applying at the time. It almost seems like Taemin's style was deliberately influenced by Rasiel.
8. V (BTS) – Kaneki

9. Momo (Twice) – Yumeko Jabami
Twice’s Momo and Kakegurui’s Jabami Yumeko both are known for their bubbly and upbeat personalities. But in this image, the big doe eyes, the perfectly proportioned bangs, the stunning bold black, straight hair, and the subtle blush on the cheeks show that the two women's fans are drawn to them not just for their personalities but also for their looks.
10. Eunhyuk (Super Junior) – Luffy
As a founding member of the wildly successful group Super Junior, Eunhyuk, a beloved K-Pop idol and one of the best dancers in the business, first shot to prominence. During his years as an idol, he won over millions of fans, and he has only gotten more well-known with time. In addition to being a prominent K-Pop idol, he also seems to be a One Piece fan, which is appropriate given that he has previously been linked to Luffy. Even a photo of Eunhyuk doing the famous stance that appeared in Luffy's Bounty poster for years is available online.
