K-Pop Idols can have very hectic schedules, so they hardly have time to be alone. It will make idols reluctant to continue their education because they may be too busy. However, there are still many idols who graduated from college. Here are a few KPop's idols that are known for their talent and passion for singing, dancing, and acting. Although it is rare for idols to enter college due to their gruelling schedules, a small number of people have taken up the challenge and succeeded in both college life and idol life. K-Pop is something that requires you to spend all of your time mastering a skill in order to survive in an industry where anyone can replace you. Because of this, idols have been trained since they were young, and hence, education naturally takes second place. All idols have studied till high school and then do not plan to take any courses, but some complete it before entering the world or after success.

1. Kim Seokjin

He was born in South Korea and is part of the boy band BTS. When he was in high school, Seokjin was discovered in the alley by the Korean K-pop agency SM Entertainment, but he declined the invitation at the time. He first wanted to become an actor. Jin graduated from Konkuk University with a bachelor's degree in Art and Performance in 2017.

 

2. G-Dragon (BIGBANG)

Kwon Ji-yong is a rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, businessman, and fashion designer from South Korea, known as the "King of Kpop”. He officially debuted in 2006 and has become one of the world's best-selling men's teams. GDragon graduated from Guocai Internet University with a degree in leisure sports. He also received a master's degree in content and retail distribution from Sejong University.

 

3. Ok Taecyeon ( 2PM)

Taecyeon was born in Seoul, South Korea, but immigrated to Bedford, Massachusetts, with his parents and sister Jihyen at the age of 10, to a small town in the Greater Boston area. He lived in Massachusetts for seven years and studied at Bedford High School. He was a member of the chess club, jazz band, joint football team, and the National Honour Society before returning to Korea to continue his career. He studied business administration at Dankook University and also went to the Graduate School of International Studies at Korea University.

 

4. Heechul (Super Junior)

He completed his graduation from Sangji Youngsoe College in 2004. He did a BA in English Tourism Translation. Additionally, he graduated from Sanchi University in 2009 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science through a self-study licensure exam.

 

5. U-Know Yunho (TVXQ)

He was born in South Korea and has a younger sister. Many members of his family work in the legal profession. He wanted to become a prosecutor in his childhood. Yunhao graduated from Chungyun University with a master's degree in music broadcasting.

 

6. Sojin (Girl's Day)

She is an excellent star who was born on May 21, 1986, in South Korea. She studied at Ruizhen and Qingde Girls High School. She graduated in mechanical engineering from Lingnan University.

 

7. Eric Nam

Eric Nam was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He has two younger brothers, Eddie and Brian Nam, both football players. Eddie plays college football for Wofford College and North-eastern University, and Brian plays football for Columbia University. He completed his graduation from Lovett School in 2007.  He graduated with a minor in International Studies and a minor in Asian Studies from Boston College in 2011. He also studied at Peking University in Beijing, China, for one year.

 

8. Xiumin (EXO)

He grew up in Kuri in Gyeonggi province. He was a student at Kanto Catholic University, where he attended a seminar and lectured to applied music students. Xiumin studies martial arts and has a black belt in kendo and taekwondo. He also studied martial arts and fencing. All the teachers admitted that he was a model student, never missed a class and despite being in one of the best bands, he was very humble.

 

9. Daniel Armand Lee

Tablo became employed as a lyricist in high school. He graduated from Stanford college with honors in English literature and creative writing under the guidance of Tobias Wolff. He shifted to Korea in 2001. He started Epik high with DJ Tukutz and Mithra Jin.

 

10. Ha Sung-Woon

He is a member of the South Korean boy organization Wanna One, as a member of boy group Hotshot, and currently, a solo artist. In 2019, he began his solo tune profession along with his first prolonged play, My Moment. Ha Sungwoon graduated from Dong-ah Institute of Media and arts, wherein he majored in K-Pop overall performance.
