K-Pop groups are making their debut with the release of their music. Unfortunately, fans sometimes face the sad truth of their beloved bands disbanding. Disbandments in K-Pop can occur for several causes, including the expiration of an artist's contract, internal corporate troubles, or controversies that affects the group. Here is a list of the Top 10 K-Pop Groups that got Disbanded in the Year 2021.

1. GOT7

GOT7 was the first group to disband in 2021. GOT7 performed from January 2014 to January 2021, when their agreement with JYP Entertainment got formally terminated. Fans were naturally upset. Some were also relieved as their company treated the group not nicely over the years.

2. IZ*ONE

On 29-October-2018, IZ*ONE made its debut with the EP "Color*Iz" and the lead track "La Vie en Rose" After their contract expired on 29-April-2021, they dissolved. The group has been debating the prospect of making another debut, but talks with each member's agency fell through. The girls rose to the top five female K-pop groups of all time.

3. Berry Good

Berry Good is a 5-member girl group that debuted in 2014 (finally promoted with four members). Members Go-Eun, So Yul left the team early after their contracts expired. Later, in May 2021, her company announced that it had decided to end promotions for Berry Good due to a series of difficulties.

4. ENOi

ENOi is a 7-member boy band that debuted in April 2019. In January 2022, ENOi's company announced that members AVin, JinWoo, and J-Kid would terminate their contracts upon expiration. They said that the group wanted to disband. However, members LaOn, DoJin, HaMin, and Gun chose to remain with the company and work independently.

5. GFriend

GFRIEND was a Six-member girl group organized under the Hybe Corporation. On 15- January-2015, they made their debut, and on 22-May-2021, they split up. Many people were concerned by GFriend's sudden disbanding and suspected wrongdoing. Whatever the justification, there is no denying that GFriend had a significant impact on the industry before they left.

6. Seven O'Clock

Seven His O'Clock debuted his mini-his album His Butterfly His Effect on 16-March-2017. The group has gone through many membership changes. After about four years of activities, on 2- March-2021, the contract will be officially dissolved.

7. 1Team

A 5 boy band called 1Team made its debut in 2019. The group firm abruptly announced the termination of 1Team functioning in March 2021. The members became well-known after they appeared on "Boys24" and "Mixnine," two survival programs.

A four-piece boy band called Voiper made its debut in March 2016. Hot Shots is a six-member boy band that debuted in 2014. In March 2021, her company announced that the team would end its activities after working together for a long time. Some members are known to many K-Pop fans as they rose through other groups such as UNB and JBJ through survival shows The Unit and Produce 101 Season 2.

100%, the phenomenal boyband from popular South Korean agency TOP Media, is preparing to dissolve ahead of its ninth debut anniversary.100% is a four-member boy band (former seven members) that debuted in September 2012. In September 2021, their company announced that the group would disband due to members contracts expiring.
