People wear braces to align their teeth perfectly. Teeth in poor shape will not appear pleasing when you smile. K-Pop Idols have to be around the camera almost the entire day and need to smile very frequently. Hence they need to keep a check on their teeth alignment. Some idols have worn braces and removed them after a long time, while some are still. They participate in the group's activity and still appear good-looking, even with braces. 1. I.N
Stray Kids' youngest member Yang Jeongin, also known as I.N, wore braces during his pre-debut and debut days. I.N was pretty much known for his cute smile along with his braces. Later, in 2017, I.N announced that he had removed his braces through one of his Vlive. Seungmin, his fellow member, is currently wearing his braces.
2. J-Hope
The Bangtan Boys are famous for their handsomeness. Some had undergone minor surgeries, and some wore braces to add more beauty to their faces. Among the members, J-Hope had braces in a picture from his pre-debut days. He used to hide his smile because he thought his braces would make him look ugly.
3. Chaeyoung
Chaeyoung from Twice had seen wearing braces in a few of her music videos. Although, there is no official statement regarding wearing braces. Fans have found videos of her with braces during one of Twice's famous song period Fancy. Her fans reacted positively to the idol's braces. In Twice, other than Chaeyoung, Nayeon and Tzuyu had also worn braces.

Pledis Entertainment's famous boy band Seventeen had many members who needed braces to help their teeth; Hoshi, S.Coups, Jun, Joshua, Jun, Vernon, and Jeonghan. Among the members, Vernon had visible braces for a long time, even after their debut. Hoshi seemed to have braces when he was at school.

Shin Yuna from ITZY has been a renowned beauty from a very young age. She had been wearing braces since middle school, till her debut "DALLA DALLA." Fans were shocked by Yuna looking so good, even with her braces on, during her pre-debut days. Her small unique face had immense beauty at 16 when she debuted.

Yoon San Ha, the lead vocalist and the youngest member of ASTRO, had braces before he debuted. In an interview, his members pointed to San Ha as the most changed member after the group debuted because he took off his braces and became more handsome. But some fans found San Ha wearing braces even after his debut days.

The maknae of Tomorrow X Together had braces for a photo shoot! Huening Kai turned out to have braced his teeth for his teaser photos and TikTok videos in his "The Dream Chapter: Eternity" era. Fans were amused to find Kai wearing braces after a long time since he had them during his trainee days, but they took it positively by finding him cute.

Sehun, the rapper and maknae of EXO, had lingual braces from 2012, his debut days. Being a rapper and wearing braces, Sehun initially found it hard to speak with his braces on. Sehun was spotted to have clean teeth in 2018, but fans made it clear that he still wore his bottom braces.
10. Swan
Purple Kiss's maknae Swan wore braces during her pre-debut, as noted by her fans from her photos. The 19-year-old girl went into hiatus due to her poor mental health and bounced back successfully into her group activities. Swan has credit points in the KOMCA charts for songwriting and composing two of their group's songs.
