Here are some of the best squad goals, and people had their squad’s back no matter what the situation, and some emotional bonding time. These iconic squads have taught us more than just friendship and the importance of bonds but also how to be understanding of the ups and downs of a relationship and get through it no matter what.
1. Soldier Squad
For all the “Crash Landing on You” fans, our squad of North Korean soldiers who were so close to each other. They define brotherhood, given importance to protect one another to the extent of crossing borders. One of the hilarious scenes from the drama was the bonding of our soldiers.
2. Hwarang Boys
One of the “reel turned real” bonds that always comes up when we are talking about brotherhood goals. It has been years since the drama’s release, yet the friendship continues, and the gang was spotted together recently too. The cast includes Park Seo Joon, Kim Taehyung, Park Hyung Sik, Do Ji Han, Choi Min Ho, and Yoo Joon Woo.
3. OG Waikiki Squad
The first and second seasons of Waikiki (and even the second one) proved what real boy friendships are. The laugh-out-loud drama has one of the best comedic timing compared to all of K-dramas. This series also had one of the best trios who had us dying from laughter and hoping we’d experience friendship like this someday.

The squad from Scarlet Heart, half-brothers (born to the same father, but different mothers), bonded while going through their ups and downs in the drama, fighting through the politics of being from a royal family, all of them share different bonds, yet they are so satisfying to watch.

This drama can be an introduction to K-Drama for many people. The four handsome friends from the show, “Boys over Flowers,” are wealthy heirs and friends in the school, Shinwa School, who may be portrayed as friendship for convenience, but we have seen them being there for each other, and let’s not forget they are iconic.
6. A3 From Extraordinary You
The handsome and famous gang from one of the best school-based shows has a lineup of these handsome men who are ready to serve looks. Lee Jae Wook as Baek Kyung was not the only reason to swoon over but the entire gang. The drama also referenced A3 as in paper to show that they are from a comic book.
7. Samsan Tech Squad From Start-Up
The hilarious trio from the drama Start-up is goals. The Samsan means three mountains because the trio shares the same last name San, their names are Nam Do-San, Lee Chul-San, and the third member Kim Yong-San, and they started a tech company together.
8. SHAX From Imitation
The idol group in the drama Imitation named SHAX has formed the real idols from groups namely, U-KISS’s Jun, SF9’s Chani, SF9’s Hwiyong, Yuri ( a Russian Korean fame model turned actor), ATEEZ’s Jongho, and finally the main lead Ahn Jung Hoon. Other idol groups are also made of real-life idols from ATEEZ and Boys’ Republic.
9. Racket Boys
The coming of age, the sports-inspired drama focuses on the lives of students playing badminton. The Haenam boys, who are shown as kids to grow as mature people and players. The struggles for all of them are different, but their love for badminton remains the same, which helps them overcome obstacles together and be each other’s support.
10. Prison Playbook Gang
Prison Playbook showed us the real value and mutual love a guy squad for each other. No matter what the background, what the crime, how the person is, everybody adjusted and supported each other (well, not everybody), which showed us the importance of knowing good people. The guards, the cellmates, all of them shared humanity and love for all.
