The charming second lead, Alberto has to be on this list. From the deceiving conman to the man who sacrificed himself for love, the tragic end of his life was unnecessary. Seung Jun had one of the best character developments in the history of K-Dramas even if it was cliché. As we started to get to know him better and got familiar with his past, it was a given that we sympathized with him, but they ended his character with a painful yet heroic death.

One of the most dramatic and sobbingly sad moments of K-Drama was the death of the character of Kim Woo Bin, known as Shin Joon Young, who, after giving up some romance goals, succumbed to an illness, sadly after the drama ended, Kim Woo Bin fell sick and had nasopharynx cancer, and has yet to make a comeback since.

Lee Rang, the most talked-about villain turned good boy character. Lee Rang sacrificed himself for his brother, and while he was dissipating, we could see tears in his eyes, but all we could think of was his journey from being a child who longed for a family and love to see his family making a run to try and save him, hold on. Now Cha Yu-RI’s death in itself is not shocking, but the story revolves around her death. The trauma and aftermath of her death are the basis of the entire show.
