Even, on-screen we always see a good-looking, brave, and righteous hero; having the entire spotlight but there were some cases too when a few villains stole the spotlight on screen. 3. Lee Dong Wook In Strangers From Hell
Lee Dong Wook is well-known for his handsome Oppa type- personality. He proves his versatility by playing the role of the Grim Reaper in "Goblin" (2016) and then, in the "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" (2020). He always had the spotlight on him but, he amazed his audience by acting as a villain in "Strangers from Hell" (2019). "Touch your heart " (2017) actor plays the role of a sinister and mysterious dentist, Seo Moon Jo.
4. Kim Bum In Tale Of Nine The Tailed
Kim Buss is best-known for his charming acting in "Boys over flower" (2009). In real life, this 32-year-old actor has a child-like face which hardly makes anyone think of him as a villain. But he stepped over his boundaries and tried the villainous role of Lee Rang in the tale of the nine-tailed (2020). Law school’s (2021) actor explains this character as the one who was abandoned by his loved one, thus, he developed a deep desire for destruction. He received a lot of appreciation as an actor and also the sympathy of viewers as Lee Rang.
5. Jang Young Nam In It’s Okay To Not Be Okay
The 47-year-old actress appeared regularly in many dramas as a supporting cast. But she unexpectedly gave a turning point to her career by working as a villain in ‘It’s okay to not be okay (2020)’. Everyone thought of her as a regular nurse in the mental hospital who acted cold to the outside world but helped everyone, until she revealed herself as the villain. The unexpected twist and her acting made the villainous role more fantastic.
6. Shin Sung Rok In My Love From The Star
Shin Sung-rok, A former basketball player turned to an actor due to his injury. He tried his luck in musical theatre after getting disheartened by roles in the drama. He was cast in minor or supporting roles despite 189 cm in height. He pushed himself in to musical theatre and is now well known for it.
He played the role of villainous businessman Lee Jae Kyung in "My love from another star". This resulted in a turning point in his acting career, and is still appreciated for his work.

In True Beauty”, the23-year-old actress played the role of a school-going teenager, Kang Su Jin. She was intelligent, talented, beautiful, and everything one could ask for. But after knowing that her crush liked her friend instead of her, she got hurt and turned into a villain. She exposed her friend’s secret for revenge. People sympathized with this character but also hated her for betraying her friend.

Jo Woo Ri, in the drama was seen as Hyun Soo Ah, a popular girl who was desperate for everybody’s attention. She showed herself as a sweet and gullible girl in front of everyone to show herself as an innocent girl but she is two-faced. She turned out to be a villain when her friend got more attention than her which she couldn’t stand. She went to whatever possible ways to steal the attention.
9. Mun Ka Young In Tempted
This 25-year-old actress is famous for her innocent-type roles. But she received a lot of appreciation after her rich and rude girl role in “Tempted” beautiful but hurt inside. The bright, talented but cunning girl decided to take revenge on Eun Tae Hee (Joy) as she thought her engagement was cut off because of her. she bet her best friend to seduce and then dump her but it turned that she lost her best friend too. While many pitied her character few even hated her character, but she was overall appreciated for her work and acting.
10. Kim Ji Soo In Hwarang
K-Drama’s main villains are crazy mothers who treat their children like pawns. In "Hwarang", Queen Ji So gave up everything to protect her son and the future of Silla. She was undoubtedly a strong woman as she defended the palace without her husband. His son was trained in secret. But she thought of him as worthless, and that led to the massive gap between mother and son.
