Netflix binge audience has shifted their interest towards Korean dramas especially during the past few years. Due to the pandemic and depressing situation in the world people found a positive and cheerful atmosphere in their houses by these Korean dramas which include all type of genres from the soft tales with beautiful, sensitive protagonists, picturesque locations, and mesmerizing storylines to action pack ,suspense ,thrill drama which  have sculpted a permanent space in everyone's hearts and Netflix queues.

Netflix has played a serious role during this expansion of Korean TV into the worldwide market. It has a solid Korean tv section, filled with best K-dramas around. If you’re new to the planet of Korean TV or if you’re simply trying to find your next watch, why not try one among the following…

1. Vincenzo

If you only watched the dramatic opening of Vincenzo, set in Italy days after the death of a mafia boss, you would possibly think you’re certain a self-serious gangland drama. Vincenzo has something for everyone. It follows Vincenzo, a Korean lawyer raised by an Italian mafia family who must run off the country following his father’s death. As part of his plan of diversion, Vincenzo travels to Korea to recover a stash of unseen gold under an old apartment building set for destruction by a corrupt corporation called the Babel Group. Because of this dilemma, Vincenzo becomes unlikely allies with the group of eccentric citizens who sleep in the building, is like a fanatical and moral lawyer who has a vendetta against the Babel Group for his grounds.

 

2. Nevertheless

Speaking of Song Kang at the time of this write-down, Netflix is currently airing Nevertheless, the latest K-drama to star the 27yrs old actor. The romantic drama stars Han So-hee as Yoo Na-bi, a university student who does not believe crazy following discovering her boyfriend has been cheating on her. When she meets Song’s Park Jae-eon, she is suddenly tantalizing. Though the 2 share an instantaneous attraction, they resist getting into a relationship thanks to their respective uncertainties about love. The story gets interesting as the characters in the drama disclose more about their true personalities, their fantasy for life and above all how they deal with the situations they all are in reality.

 

3. Record Of Youth 

Record of Youth narrates the story of a batch of young adults who dare to reach for their dreams in the entertainment industry. Sa Hye-jun (Park Bo-gum) is a hard-working model who dreams of becoming a famous actor. Ahn Jeong-ha (Park So-dam), a fan of Sa Hye-jun, is a caring yet lonely makeup artist who dreams of one day having her own parlor. Won Hae-Hyo (Byeon Woo-Seok), Hye-jun's ally,  is a model-turned-actor who dreams of 1 day controlling his career. With powerful performances and relatable struggles, you'll quickly end up rooting for the characters as they overcome trials and tribulations to realize their dreams.

 

4. It's Okay To Not Be Okay 

In this fairy tale, an understanding health care worker with a tragic past meets a children’s book author with a brain sickness. As the two get to understand one another, they form a slow-burning romance that helps them both emotionally heal and move forward.

5. Crash Landing On You

A dramatic romance, the series tells the story of a South Korean heiress to an outsized conglomerate who, while paragliding, accidentally crash-lands in North Korea. But don't be concerned, she meets a North Korean military officer who protects her, and that they begin a romance despite political strife. The drama has characters that will make you fall in love with the country not only South Korea but also North Korea. All the actors are equally responsible for making this drama big hit. It is a treat to watch the drama.

6. Hospital Playlist

Friends since undergrad school, five doctors remain alongside and share a love for music while performing at a parallel hospital.

Like Kingdom, Hospital Playlist is that the rare K-drama that narrates its story across multiple seasons. Its story is about a batch of doctors in their 40s who have been close friends since medical school. A true septet drama, Hospital Playlist is perfect for fans of Grey’s Anatomy but feels unique in its concentration of a friend’s group with such a long history.

7. Boys Over Flowers

It's F4's world and we're all just upkeeping in it. At least it's in Boys Over Flowers, a best-loved Korean drama series that was first broadcast in 2009. F4, the name of a clique of the foremost popular, wealthiest boys at a personal senior school, takes an interest in a new girl, a scholarship student who comes from a different world. When you need a complete guilty pleasure, this is often it. The drama is one of a kind and you will always fall in the love with the characters especially the star of South Korea, Lee Min Ho.

8. The Heirs

Set during a high school filled with teenagers from urban-rich families. The series follows them as they navigate the responsibilities involved eventually taking up their family businesses, also struggle with a love triangle—one of our favorite plot lines during a Korean drama series, alongside coping with romance that has crossed social castes. Though the story is a regular romantic drama type the cast has made the drama so interesting and the music is just a cherry on the top.

 

9. Start-Up

Start-Up is about a fictional Korean version of Silicon Valley, where Bae Suzy’s character Seo Dal-mi dreams of being the Korean Steve Jobs. Following her passion, Dal-mi gets involved in a start-up business and quickly becomes entangled with a sophisticated love triangle. One young man named Han Ji-pyeong (Kim Seon-ho) is her old flame, now a successful speculator, while Nam Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk)  is a young man down on his luck, who Dal-mi thinks is her young love. This inspires Do-san to offer his start-up another try, while also attempting to form Dal-mi’s fault a reality. While taking over the fashion industry of start-ups, the show also gives everyone the classic romance they know they need.

10. Kingdom

Netflix's first real Korean series, Kingdom offers an unusual still fascinating mix of historical drama, political interest, and maniac horror. It's also visually stunning to boot, a junket for the eyes as well as the infected. Fans are waiting for the second season eagerly.
