Fans might not know that Kpop idols can be non-Asian too. Some of these idols got trained to become a pro in the Korean language. But some were not accepted by the fans. These stars are from America, Europe, and all around the world. Some of them turned into soloists, and some are about to debut. Some enjoyed the fame while it lasted, and some are still famous.

1. Mickey Romeo

Mickey Romeo was a South African-American in the band Roo’Ra in 1996 after a band member departed from the group. But he wasn't a part of the group for a long time since the group announced its disbandment after a year.

 

2. Chad Future

Chad Future was a part of a boy band, and it had the Kpop concept. They tried mixing Kpop with American music. But he didn't know Korean. He collaborated with some famous Kpop idols.

3. Julian Quintart

Julian was a part of BONJOUR, including two other French members. He became a soloist after releasing two songs with the group.

4. Shreya Lenka

Sriya Lenka is from India and is going to debut with Blackswan. She auditioned during the pandemic and got selected. She uploaded several clips with the members of the group.

5. Lana

Lana faced the fury of the audience after releasing her first track. She knows how to speak Korean but receives a large amount of hate. She continued to release her songs.

6. Romina

Romina is a solo artist from Germany. She gained fame after appearing on KBS, and Minji asked her to join her on tour. She released her album after that.

7. Sofia

Sofia is from Russia and debuted with O My Jewel. She was the first idol from Russia, but the group announced its disbandment after releasing one song.

8. Coco Avenue

The African American duo releases songs in Korean. They have not made a full-blown debut, but audiences love their work.

9. Alex Reid

Alex Reid was a member of a Kpop girl band, but she announced her departure. The reason was discrimination because she got revealing clothes to wear and less screentime compared to other members.

10. Olivia

Olivia was a French member of the girl band THE GLOSS. She was the first French idol in a Korean group. But the group never debuted.
