1. Apink
Apink is a famous South Korean girl group. They were threatened by multiple phone calls, and anti-fans even planted bombs in the locations the group was supposed to perform. Due to these cases, their schedules were canceled and delayed. The suspect was a 30-
year-old resident from Canada.
2. TVXQ’s Yunho
TVXQ member Yunho drank orange juice which he thought was from the staff. Later it turned out to be super glue which caused the idol to vomit and cough out blood before fainting. He stays extra cautious now due to the scarring incident.
3. 2pm
The boy band under JYP Entertainment, 2pm, once received a gift from an anti-fan. They were gifted a bouquet which symbolises death in South Korea. But gratefully, the members were unharmed after the incident.
4. Blackpink’s Lisa
Lisa is a member of YG Entertainment’s girl group Blackpink. She wasprovoked by anti-fans on social media. They claimed they would shoot the idol as soon as the group did a comeback stage. Fansshowed concern and asked authorities to take necessary steps to protect the idol.
5. Big Bang
The famous boyband Big Bang and Exo once had their comebacks together, which caused a fandom fight. Apparently, Exo fans threatened to bomb the arena where Big Bang was supposed to perform. After a short time, Exo had to apologize for their fans’behavior.
6. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon
Taeyeon is a member of the girl group Girls’ Generation. During one of their performances, a fan was spotted trying to drag Taeyeon out of the stage. Member Sunny and the security quickly came to the rescue and got the man off the stage. The man’s intentions wereunclear, but thanks to her member and security, Taeyeon was safe.
7. Jay Park
Jay Park is a solo artist and businessman in South Korea. Anti fans were angered by his actions even while he was making his departure from his former group 2pm. They even signed a petition to make him suicide. After gaining 3000 signatures, the petition was taken down. It is pretty upsetting for the netizens to react in such a harsh manner.
8. Kan Mi Youn
Kan Mi Youn is a South Korean actress, singer, radio host, fashion designer, model, and businesswoman. While dating the K-pop idol Moon Hee Jun back in 1999, she received an envelope full of blades as a threat. After this terrible incident, she reported it to the police
right away.
9. Twice’s Nayeon
Twice member Nayeon was threatened by a crazy sasaeng fan.Sasaeng is a term used for an anti-fan. He claims to be in love withthe Nayeon and has visited every location the idol has been to. The stalker was sent back to his country, and he started releasing deaththreats toward the idol through social media.
10. BTS’s Jimin
Jimin is a member of the popular boy band BTS. He was doing a V livetogether with his teammate RM. One fan threatened through the livethat they would hire a hitman to shoot the idols if they ever came tothe US. There have been several similar death threats made toward the artist before.
