Boy's love - The concept of BL, which is also called "yaoi" in Japanese, was first originated in Japan in the year 1970 when a female writer released a manga named Kaze to ki no Uta. Since the COVID-19, the hype surrounding BL has grown, and this genre is now at the top, attracting a lot of attention from female audiences.Here are some of the most prominent BL anime of all time.

Junjou Romantica which means "Pure Love," was released in the year 2008. It was written by Shungiku Nakamura. This story revolves around three couples, but the most loved pair were Misaki Takahashi and Usami Akihiko, in which Usami falls for Misaki, who has no idea, and this story continues further.

This is a story about two ice-skaters named Yuri and Victor Nikiforov, who help each other to find inspiration and move on, but ultimately they end up being each other's inspiration and love interest. This is a high school romance anime that was written and released in the year July 2015. The show is about the story of two classmates named Kokusai and Chiga. Kokusai was the class president, whereas China was a normal student who used to admire Kokusai. On travelling to get her, he sees many adult men harassing Kokusai, so Chiga decides to help Kokusai, and eventually they start bonding.
8. Spirited Away
This anime is one of the most beautiful animes of all time, with two of the most handsome male leads. It was written by Reiko Torri and was released in the year 2016.
