Tokyo Ghoul is a Japan-based dark fantasy film, an action-filled movie that got released in 2017. The film is based on the manga series of the same name. Shui Ishida wrote the manga series, and Kentaro Hagiwara directed the film version. The film’s plot unfurls around a college student. He is attacked by a flesh-eating being called Ghoul. But later, he received an organ from the ghoul itself, that makes him a part monster. The series has two films under its sequel from 2017 to 2019.
Parasyte is a Japanese sci-fi action-horror film that got released in 2014. The film is based on the manga series called Parasyte. Hitoshi Iwaaki wrote the manga series, and Takashi Yamazaki directed the film. The movie’s plot revolves around aliens. They are named Parasites. When they invade earth, they start infecting human beings by entering their brains. But, when they tried to enter the brain of a high school student Shinichi Izumi, they infected his right hand instead of his brain. It helped the boy to remain conscious as a human, and after some time, he made Parasite his friend and named him Migi. The series has two films under his franchise from 2014 to 2015.

Otoko wa Tsurai yo is a Japanese film series that was released in 1969. The film’s plot revolves around a generous and kind man who is never lucky in his love life. The series has released 49 films under its franchise from 1969 to 1997. Yoji Yamada directed the entire film series except few of them.
8. Torakku Yaro
Torakku Yaro is a Japanese action-comedy film that got released in the year 1975. Norifumi Suzuki directed every film in the series.
