1. Kento Yamazaki

Kento Yamazaki is one of the most famous Japanese actors and has many fans worldwide. He has worked in various live-action anime adaptations, movies, and dramas. The recent action movie that he starred in was Alice in the Borderland which gained him numerous fan following. More works that he has starred in are Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (live-action), Kiss that Kills, Life of an Otaku (live-action), Runaways: For your love, Miss Double Faced Teacher, A Girl and Three Sweethearts, Sato’s Family Breakfast, etc.

 

2. Akanishi Jin

Akanishi Jin is a popular Japanese actor, songwriter-singer and is the lead singer in the J-pop band KAT-TUN which debuted in 2006. He made his debut as an actor through a cameo role in P.P.O.I got his first role in Yukan Club. He had made his debut in Hollywood with the 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves. His first lead role was in the movie Bandag. More works he has appeared in are Hisashi Kimura, Ryota Shibuya, Taiyō wa Shizumanai, etc.

 

3. Takeru Satoh

Takeru Satoh is an actor who is famous for his role in Kamen Rider Den-O Franchise.  He made his debut in 2006 and his first TV Asahi show was Princess Princess. He went ahead to then star in the 17th instalment of the Kamen Rider Series. He has starred in various movies and dramas such as Rurouni Kenshin, The Legend Ends, Rookies, Meichan No Shitsuji, etc.

 

4. Kenichi Matsuyama

Kenichi Matsuyama is an actor who had made his debut as a model in 2001. After which he had played many small roles in dramas like Gokusen. He went on to make his movie debut with the movie Winning pass in 2003. His breakout role came from the movie, Death Note in which he played the role of ‘L'. Other works that he has starred in are Detroit Metal City, Norwegian Woods, etc.

 

5. Mackenyu

Mackenyu is an LA-born, Japanese actor and the son of Sonny Chiba. He got his first acting role at the age of nine. He took up projects in both LA and Japan and had made his Hollywood debut in Pacific Rising Uprising in 2018. More works that he has appeared in are Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (live-action), Chihayafuru (live-action), Jojo Bizarre Adventure (live-action), etc.

 

6. Keita Machida

Keita Machida is yet another famous actor who was only known for second lead roles but he got his big break in the action series Alice in Borderland. He was once a part of a boy band but an injury made him decide to focus on acting. Works he has starred in are L-DK: Two Loves Under One Roof, Meet Me After School, Prince of Legend, etc.

 

7. Sota Fukushi

Sota Fukushi is known for his roles in Shoujo manga adaptations. His talent landed him many endorsements, and he had also appeared on various covers for Japanese magazines. Works he has appeared in are Laplace’s Witch Bleach (live-action), Say I Love You, My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday, etc.

 

8. Taishi Nakagawa

Taishi Nakagawa is a host actor and model. He rose to popularity as Hase Tenma in Hana Noche Hare. More works in which he has appeared are Kakegurui (Live Action), Natsuzore, My Little Lover, etc.

 

9. Jun Matsumoto

Jun Matsumoto is a popular Japanese actor who is loved by millions of fans. He is best known for his role as Domyouji Tsukasa in Hana Yori Dango. He is not only a talented actor but also a singer as one-fifth of the boy band ARASHI. Works he has appeared in are TV series Smile.

 

10. Kimura Takuya
