Sunny Chan, widely recognized as Wing-Sun Chan, is a famous Chinese screenwriter for both television and films. Parasitical landlords attempt to evacuate 72 tenants in 1970s Hong Kong, but committed brothers Shek Kin and Ha Kung assist the group in defeating the landowners and, ironically, save Pinky from an impending forced marriage. When the brothers approach her with marriage proposals, she flips a coin, and although both brothers cheated during the toss, Ha wins her hand. The sworn brothers change their vows to become enemies, and Shek's hatred for Ha fuels fierce competition with Ha in everything from the production of plastic flowers to the sale of stinky bean curd. Even after 40 years, they are still at odds, and in 2010 they are selling electrical gadgets in Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mongkok, in fierce competition, the busiest street in the city and still home to 72 tenants.

 

3. River Of Wine

Sung, the founder of a wine shop, agrees to assist Leung Ching Yiu's family in overcoming their difficulties in exchange for Yiu becoming his stepson and taking care of his business. Yiu not only accepts the offer but also separates from his family to keep his mother, Kwan Wai Lan, from being gossiped about. Leung Ching Hong, his younger brother, is enraged by his decision. Lian Nichang turned into the evil "White-Haired Witch" after feeling betrayed by her lover, Zhuo Yihang. She finds a cult that welcomes women who have been victimized by men. Chen Yuanyuan, who was deceived by Wu Sangui, is one of its members. On a snow-covered mountain, Zhuo Yihang waits for a rare flower to grow because he thinks it will enable Lian Nichang to have black hair once more. After killing their seniors, Lian Nichang has earned the enmity of the eight main martial arts sects, who have vowed to kill her. The elders of the other sects serve as witnesses as Feng Junjie, the Wudang Sect's leadership heir, marries Yu Qin.
