It requires great skill to play a villain. Although comic books traditionally focus on the protagonists of stories, certain villains are considerably more entertaining to read. They symbolize the continuity of narrative that most people who dismiss them as a juvenile are unaware of; their forefathers include figures like Hercules, Gilgamesh, and Sinbad. Here are some excellent Chinese performers in bad roles.
1. Shih Kien
Shih is best known for his roles as antagonists and villains in several early Hong Kong wuxia and martial arts films dating back to the black-and-white era is best known to Western audiences for his portrayal of the primary villain.
2. Jet Li
Li's first non-Chinese film job was as a villain in Lethal Weapon 4 (1998), and his first part in a Hollywood film was as Han Sing in Romeo Must Die (2001).
3. Sammo Hung
Don't be fooled by his appearance, despite his body weight. He's a fantastic performer who deserved to have a Fist Saint named after him in Gekiranger. All particularly like how shows off his incredible footwork despite his weight. His combat sequence was with Donnie Yen in Sha Po Lang, when he played a villain.
4. Deric Wan
While he has performed heroically, he has also portrayed several villains that may truly irritate the audience because they know how to annoy the heroes. Deric Wan excels in his characters' scenes and roles have to be in So Close, Dolphin Bay, and Twin Sisters, where he understands how to build his characters we love to despise.
5. Hu Jun
In Hua Mulan, he plays the dangerous Men Du, the adoptive son of the Rouran leader. In that film, he looks when he turns wicked and plays a villain. It's no surprise that he can portray the primary villain in Hua Mulan because he has already played various heroic characters.
6. Zhen Xiu Zhen
She knows how to be a super big-time bitch in Meteor Garden. What's your favourite scene? It's every time she becomes a lethal foe to the heroine, played by Barbie Xu. She truly understands how to seem menacing when she has to, which made me ponder. In fact, given how talented she is as an actress.
7. Liu Sue Hua
SHE IS, WITHOUT A DOUBT, LEGENDARY. You have to watch her in Yun Niang as the evil mother-in-law (and yes, that laugh is terrible) or two in Miracle Healers is one bitch of a queen mother and a nasty witch who thinks about herself. She truly understands how to portray frightening characters. I'd want to see her another deadly villain, perhaps this time with her bitching out at the protagonists.
8. Andy Lau
Here's another great actor who has portrayed terrible men. In "Internal Affairs," he plays an anti-villain who is a corrupt cop, and he does a nice job at it. As for Emperor Hong Hei. We'd say he has the voice of a manipulative leader. Any villain part he does, he performs and is a great villain actor, and we truly wish he'd featured in Dolphin Bay and Twin Sisters as Deric Wan.
9. Daniel Wu
Everyone adored his performance in New Police Story. He made Jackie Chan appear frail. He was adored for his terrifying demeanour.
10. Allen Chao
In Black and White, he was a great evil who could keep his guy identity hidden until the end. One thing to be admired about this guy is how he can play several roles in a single show.
