1. Nan Ying

Nang Ying is a singer from China. She owns property in Dongshan Villa. Dongshan Villa has been nicknamed ‘Beijing’s No.1 Luxury Mansion’. Nan Ying lives in the Louwang Villa. The villa covers an area of 1150 square metres. Based on selling prices on the internet, the price of the house is 129,000 yuan per square metres. Nan Ying’s 1150 square metres house would have cost approximately 150 million yuan.

 

2. Faye Wong

Faye Wong is a Hong Kong actress and singer-songwriter. The news had reported long ago that Faye’s net worth had reached 1 billion. Since 1997, she has had the luxury to buy and to live in luxury houses. Faye ended up buying 3 such luxury houses. The average price of where Wong lives is around 80 million yuan.

 

3. Eva Huang

Eva Huang is a singer and actress. The total area of her house is approximately 7,500 square feet. The house looks like a stadium from the outside and unlike most other houses, its entrance is a revolving door. The house is equipped with a little amusement park inside. It includes a mega ball pit, bumper cars, and a few rides. Eva also owns a private ski field right beside the house.

Angelababy is a model, actress, and singer. She is based in Hong Kong and mainland China. Angelababy owns a spacious apartment in Shanghai in one of the prime districts. In a Weibo post made by the actress, specific landmarks could be seen, like the Oriental Pearl Radio and Television Tower. Although her apartment is 700 square metres, the price of the apartment is said to be worth more than 100 million yuan (around $20 million).

 

5. William Chan

William Chan is a dancer, singer, and actor. Between 2012 to 2018, Chan has spent a total of HK$64.4 million ($12 million) on 5 real estate properties across Hong Kong. His first purchase was an apartment in Kennedy Town which cost him HK$2.3 million ($428,000). Chan went on to buy his second property in Kwun Tong after his success in China. The second apartment cost HK$2.17 million ($404,000 million). The other three properties cost the singer over HK$10 million ($1.8 million) on each of the properties in North Point and Wan Chai.

 

6. Zhang Guoli

Zhang Guoli is an actor and film director. In 1995, Deng Jie (Zhang’s wife) took a liking to a 5,000 square metres property in Beijing Orson Park. Zhang somehow managed to put up 5 million yuan to buy 1,000 square metres. A couple of years later, when Beijing hosted the Olympics, the prices of the surrounding houses rapidly increased. The market value of Zhang’s house went up to 120 million yuan, increasing by 30 times.

 

7. Carina Lau

Carina is a singer and actress. Carina Lau currently owns properties in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Suzhou. The actress often shares pictures of her Hong Kong flat on her Instagram page. Carina had bought a flat in 1995. Although she doesn’t live there anymore, she still holds it due to its sentimental values. Today, this apartment is used by the actress to host gatherings for close-knit friends and family. The total value of her properties is reported to have a combined value of 700 million yuan ($106 million).

Huang Xiaoming is one of the most prominent actors in China. In 2013, the actor bought his mansion for $7.2 million. Its value has since has risen substantially. Today the estate is worth over $20 million.

Jackie Chan is one of the most well-known martial artists and actors of all time. He has gained international prominence and fame through years of hard work and literal broken bones. Jackie is renowned for performing all of his death-defying stunts himself. Jackie is known to mainly live in Beverly Hills and in Hong Kong, although not much is known about his family home. His mansion in Beverly Hills cost around $11 million. Due to certain ownership disputes, two of his apartments in Beijing were auctioned off. The total area of the living space between the apartments was around 13,200 square feet and its market value is said to be $14.6 million.

 

10. Zhao Wei

Zhao Wei became a popular household name after achieving overnight fame thanks to her role in ‘My Fair Princess’. Since 2006, she has reportedly spent over 50 million yuan ($7.6 million) in real estates in Beijing and Shanghai.Today the collective value of her properties in these cities is said to be approximately 300 million yuan ($45 million). In early 2020, Zhao and her husband had bought a two-storey penthouse, covering a space of 8.740 square feet in Singapore for 130 million yuan ($19.7 million).
