Hakushon wishes for her to be a worthy heir to his throne. In the human world, he sent Akubi to Kantaro, the grandson of his old master. Exciting adventures in the human world await Akubi and Kantaro. She must guide Kantaro through his dreams and wishes. As part of her training, she has to handle his issues in the modern world. Akubi learns the value of having dreams while living with a human master. In ‘The Genie Family,’ see how the magical genie, his mischievous younger brother, and a grade school master embark on their adventure.

The Feel-Good Part

With Akubi’s failing magic, the anime is humorous and entertaining. She attempts to assist Kantaro but always ends in causing additional issues. What makes the anime more thrilling and fascinating is when Puta, the mischievous genie youngster, exaggerates the situation for amusement.

The Disappointing Factor

While comical anime creates funny jokes, they are often awkward and embarrassing. The series began on a charming and humorous note, but the conclusion was severe in comparison. While the friendship between Akubi and Kantaro is endearing, the plot concept makes the pairing odd.

In-Depth Analysis

The anime is a follow-up to the 50-year-old animation ‘The Genie Family.’ The Japanese anime depicts a human’s life journey. It shows the core of a person’s highs and lows in the funniest way possible. In the guise of Kantaro and genie Akubi, the animation depicts the beauty of friendship. Its fundamental lesson conveyed through the training of Akubi in the modern era emphasizes the importance of hopes and dreams. The animations are both charming and amusing. The voices that match the anime characters are excellent. Funny jokes make the characters are likable to a degree. Even if you haven’t seen the anime’s prequel, you should be able to follow along with this series.

Star Power

The voices for this anime are provided by Kichi Yamadera (Hakushon), Sumire Morohoshi (Akubi), Miyuri Shimabukuro (Kantaro), and Daiki Yamashita (Puta). Yamadera’s tone is humorous, and Sumire endowed Akubi with her cuteness and allure. They obtained a significant and most appropriate voice for the animation, making it feel more natural and alive.

Overall Opinion

The Genie Family is a delightful series. It’s amusing and upbeat refreshing in our troubled modern society. It’s hilarious anarchy with an open heart to all good things. Overall, the anime is well worth seeing at least once.
