The story revolves around Menou, who is an assassin. Her work is to kill the lost ones summoned by the king, as soon as possible.
The story begins when Mutou Mitsuki, from the present-day Japan is transported to this fantasy world summoned by the king, Akari Tokitou. He is supposed to possess some remarkable power but lacks some special concept and so he is abandoned. He then finds a priestess named Menou who offers to help him, but she kills him as soon as she gets the chance.
Menou’s main mission is to kill Akari Tokitou.
The Feel- Good Part
There are not one or two but many excellent factors about this anime. The world building is amazing. The characters are fully developed. The storyline is collected and not all over the place and the plot flows smoothly. It has a unique concept and brings something fresh in the anime world. The action is good and the show keeps you intrigued till the end.
The Disappointing Factor
The dialogues feel more like explanation and the main lead speaks in a very serious tone, all the time. I’m not telling her to go all cherry blossom every time she speaks but there should be some variation at least.
In-Depth Analysis
Menou is appointed by a mysterious organization to assassinate some superpowered teenagers who can cause huge traumatizing impact. She swore to kill them all and prevent history from repeating itself. Her main mission is to kill Akari but on the way they start catching feelings for each other. But Akari being the downfall of humanity, has to die. And she is ready to die in the hands of Menou. Basically, Akari has a backstory related to Menou for which you would have to watch the show.
It is an excellent anime with satisfying graphics and good action. The storyline is new and unique. The world is beautiful and the colors are bright and attractive.
Star Power
The characters are a great strength of this show. Each and every character is different and unique and everyone is a driving force in the show.
Overall Opinion
It is a good anime with a lot of interesting factors. There are many things in just one show and will keep you hooked for the second season. If you are looking for fantasy, action and adventure, this one is for you.
