Anime Digest

Game developer Kyya Hashiba is 28 years old. He returns to his hometown after his firm fails, and he loses his job as a result. As he lay worried on his bed, he found himself regretting his life choices as he observed the success of creators his age. When Kyya awakens, he finds that he had gone back ten years to the period before he started college.

The Feel-Good Part

Even if the animation and artwork were conventional, something genuinely stuck out! They indeed went out of their way to have everyone’s designs revolve around their eyes.

The Disappointing Factor

The characters had dreams even though they were your ordinary people. But it quickly seemed as though everyone had been put on the back burner except for Kyoya and not for a good cause. Because he didn’t make any real progress, in the end, the romance in the early episodes was pointless. Furthermore, Kyoya’s character growth was minimal at best.

In-Depth Analysis

Kyouya Hashiba, a guy in his late 20s, had great aspirations for his internship with a well-known game firm until it was cut short due to budget constraints. Kyouya returns to live with his parents because he feels that he spent not just his traditional degree but also the majority of his life pursuing a goal. He felt he had abandoned his goal by not choosing to attend the art institution even after receiving an acceptance letter. After a lengthy bus trip home, he finally gives in to sleep. He awakens ten years earlier, shortly before making the critical decision of which university to attend.

To change his present chronology and live the life he has always desired, he travels to an arts college armed with the knowledge of the future and what it prophesied.

He starts to interact with the potential members of the Platinum Generation, a group of gifted artists he admired. The group decides to create a game as Kyouya works with them. As a result of the difficulties, Kyouya is determined to make it work. He finds solution after solution, and the job is finished, but it all has a negative side effect. He became everyone’s go-to guy, which led to some of them losing their enthusiasm.

Star Power

Masahiro Ito as Kyōya Hashiba, Aoi Koga as Aki Shino, Aimi as Nanako Kogure, Nao Tōyama as Eiko Kawasegawa, Haruki Ishiya as Tsurayuki Rokuonji, Miyuki Sawashiro as Misaki Kanō.

Overall Opinion

Remake Our Life began promisingly and excited everyone. But sadly, it was unable to keep up with itself. It is time to dust off and start a fresh new season. But at least the art and animation were able to rescue the anime for a little while.
