Anime Digest

Each resident of a post-apocalyptic society has their identity marked with a unique “Count,” which indicates how they support themselves. However, a shadowy entity has plans to kidnap these Counts.

The Feel Good Part

Plunderer’s attempts to create a distinctive world, such as the idea of the “Count,” which serves as the foundation of this anime’s universe, will likely draw you in.

The Disappointing Factor

The series lacks good execution and direction.

In-Depth Analysis

Before we meet the series’ peculiar characters, the main plot of Plunderer appears to be a boring isekai anime. The show tries to combine action with ecchi, but falls short, producing a weird depiction of crude sexual humour that may offend many viewers. The main male protagonist of Plunderer is Licht Bach. Because he wears masks of many shapes and sizes, his persona is one of mystery. He has been portrayed in an almost humorous way as a shamelessly perverted individual, which may again offend many viewers. The anime features many battle scenes, most of which are just static images with poor animation.

Star Power

The voice actors do great justice to the characters.

Overall Opinion

The plot is terrific, but there are some problems. For example, the dialogue is excellent but feels empty and lacks emotion. It’s a clumsy attempt at combining ecchi and fantasy action.
