The feel-good part

The characters that were consistently shown were fleshed out and had good character development. The world-building and power system exposition was interesting.

The disappointing factor

The monologues were too frequent, and at times, they broke the rhythm. The pacing was slow. The dubbing was annoying at a few points.

In-depth analysis

The anime revolved around a man who died but returned as undead. The story progressed slowly. New and fascinating characters were introduced. It was engaging to see how Rentt dealt with his condition and interacted with people he knew. As the story progresses he gets stronger, but these action scenes serve the story well. The world-building was done well. The characters were quirky but realistic. The dialogue between Rentt and the people close to him was awesome. The art network was mediocre.

Star power

The characters were written brilliantly, and they were fleshed out. The animations were also top-level. Overall, the cast enhanced the anime.

Overall opinion

It was a decent fantasy anime with fabulous characters and world-building. The art was good, but it heavily cut on the exposition. It was an enjoyable anime.
