Bakugan rising is one of the most popular Japanese anime. Bakugan: Geongan rising is the third season of the television series Bakugan: battle planet. It is a long series having fifty-two episodes of eleven minutes each.
The Feel-Good Part
The production quality and the animation of the series are top notch as expected because it being one of the most famous anime series. The concept and designs of various Bakugan creatures is intriguing and gives us the feel of watching ‘Pokémon.’ The art and music are all pretty suitable for the series and keeps the viewers engaged.
The Disappointing Factor
If you’re watching this anime for a good story, then you’re not at the right place. This anime does not really focus on a particular story instead it just focuses on and promotes different creatures and their abilities.
In-Depth Analysis
Years ago, a mysterious force ‘Code Eve’ constructed the first two Bakugan who were named ‘Dragonoid’ and ‘Dharaknoid’. They were created from the genes of some ultimate warrior. Both of these Bakugan created two separate universes of themselves. Both these universes were different and had different contents. Years later, several other Bakugan were created and they resembled the creatures we find in the series Pokémon.’ These Bakugan were trapped inside balls just like Pokemons. The previous two seasons of this series focused entirely on various Bakugan creatures and their use. The third season introduced a new creature called ‘Geongan’. Geongan are similar to Bakugan but have elemental crystals growing from their bodies. They are much stronger as compared to Bakugan. This season starts with some Bakugan ‘Awesome Brawlers’ who are tired and healing from the last time they saved the world. Due to this situation, new Bakugan are put forth in the front and are ready to take up challenges. This team of Bakugan includes Geongan as well. As the Geongan are more powerful than the Bakugan, they’re intending to dominate the world. All these Bakugan try to prove their worth through their battles. Several battles take place among various Bakugan in battle arenas. They can assume their original form only when they’re on the battlefield and hence can prove their true worth and power. The main role of these Bakugan is to save the world by fighting evil powers.
Star Power
Though it consists of various creatures in different shapes and forms, the most entertaining thing about the Bakugan series is the battles between them. The rules of the games/battles are the most interesting thing about the battles. Hence, they can be called the major entertainer of the show.
Overall Opinion
This anime is mostly meant to be watched by children as it contains fictional creatures with supernatural powers which is a huge hit among children. All in all, it’s an entertaining and addictive anime.
