Anime Digest

Myne is preparing for her stay at the church as she is the priestess. However, she attracted the attention of many dangerous people due to her immense knowledge and power. The head priestess appoints a bodyguard to protect her and suggests being adopted by a noble. But that decision will make her leave her family behind. She is in a tough place, but even if she is forced to leave her dreams, she won’t compromise on her family.

The Feel Good Part

The story is excellent. The characters have the same lovable traits as the starter. The voice actors did their best. The actors’ voices are accurate for the scenes. There is character development, which is presented well. The story is balanced. The art style and the animation are reasonable compared to the previous season.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot leaves some content here and there compared to the manga. It is slow-paced to a great extent. The action scenes could be better. There is some repetition of content. Towards the end of the plot, it gets dull. Some of the problems seem to be exaggerated a lot. Humor is a little lacking here. The only bad thing about the art is that sometimes it is a little too contrasted.

In-Depth Analysis

Season 3 starts in sync with where season 2 left off. Myne starts working as a priestess in a church. She also continued to work for the company to produce books. She started developing colored inks. We get to see her get closer to her goal. She started to create colored inks and a movable type printing press. There are some action scenes involved in the season. But not as much as in the first season. This one has a lot of conflicts, which also makes the show interesting. It is primarily political. The people in the church want to get rid of Miene just because she is a commoner. The other conflict arises from her rival businesses who wish to keep themselves high.

Star Power

This season introduces a large number of new characters. Count Bindewald was the new antagonist of the season. Even though his character is not that interesting, his role is essential to the plot. The main lead has a solid and loving personality. She was bold and wanted to pursue her goal. She also put others before her. It shows how her inventions have influenced people.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the anime is good. Not that much happened during this season. It was mainly focused on figuring out the ink. The anime will feel like it is not excellent and boring because the plot stretches in some scenes. So there is a chance to drop the anime after a few episodes. It is pretty enjoyable even though the story mainly focuses on drama rather than humor.
