Anime Digest

With the Summer Troupe’s performance completed, Izumi Tachibana must now recruit five members for the Autumn Troupe, the next sub-troupe. Fortunately, a large number of people show up for the audition: Banri Settsu, a talented but boastful jack of all trades; Juuza Hyoudou, a stone-faced delinquent with a passion for acting; Taichi Nanao, a man looking to impress girls on stage; Omi Fushimi, a college student, amateur photographer, and skilled cook; and Sakyou Furuichi, a yakuza member with a past connection to the Mankai Company

The Feel-Good Part

A3! Autumn and Winter are equally enjoyable as Spring and Summer. In terms of age and personality, the two new troupes are rather different. The characters are likeable, even if they generally stick to clichés. The plays are just as entertaining as they have always been. The stakes are higher this season than in prior seasons, as the final performances will determine whether the Mankai Theater succeeds or fails. Furthermore, they are being pursued by an enemy group known as the God Troupe, who will do everything in their power to bring them down.

The Disappointing Factor

The interactions between characters can be a little boring at times, and the conflicts can down the pace of the show to the point where you can skip over a lot of the episode. However, the entire episode is easily consumable for anime alone viewers, while still leaving hints and sweet kisses for game players.

Overall Opinion

The story is nice, the characters are likeable, the pacing is somewhat slow, and everything isn’t as well-coordinated as it should be, but it’s undeniably fantastic!
